Bhagadatta's elephant Supratika (excellent Beast card)

Supratika was the magnificent war elephant of King Bhagadatta of Pragjyotisha and one of the most terrifying beasts described in the Mahabharata. Trained for war and utterly loyal to its master, it combined enormous physical strength with remarkable endurance. On the battlefield, its sheer presence was enough to shake the confidence of experienced warriors. During the Kurukshetra War, Supratika became the centerpiece of Bhagadatta's elephant corps. It charged through enemy formations, overturned chariots and forced even renowned heroes to retreat or regroup. The epic repeatedly presents the pair of Bhagadatta and Supratika as one of the greatest challenges faced by the Pandava army. Bhima, celebrated for his immense strength, struggled against the elephant's relentless assaults. Supratika repeatedly pressed him across the battlefield, creating confusion among the Pandava forces. Its power was not born of divine magic but of disciplined training, natural might and complete trust in its rider. Supratika's final battle came when Bhagadatta confronted Arjuna. Mounted upon the great elephant, Bhagadatta fought fiercely until Arjuna first slew the king and then brought down Supratika. The fall of the mighty elephant marked the end of one of the most formidable warrior-beast partnerships in the Kurukshetra War.

Supratika was raised as a royal war elephant in the kingdom of Pragjyotisha, whose rulers were renowned for their mastery of elephant warfare. Under the guidance of King Bhagadatta, one of the greatest elephant warriors of the age, Supratika became the kingdom's supreme battle mount. Years of disciplined training transformed the elephant into a living fortress. By the time of the Kurukshetra War, Supratika had become inseparable from Bhagadatta and a symbol of the military strength of Pragjyotisha.
